Review: I have to say this has been my favorite book by Marie Hall so far.

What really impressed me about this book was the intricate settings and detail to setting that was unlike any of the other books.

This book takes place in Neverland and also undersea. The story mostly takes place on a pirate ship, but even that was uniquely written. Continue reading

Review: I finished this book in an hour and I have to say I was not impressed at all. I was bored throughout the entire thing.

This book seemed to be a step back from the previous books and came across as more of a filler than anything else. It is rather short and

Review: I’m continuing with my binge reading of this series and I have not been disappointed!

Review: So I found this series through a list on Goodreads and because it involved the Mad Hatter and a version of Alice in Wonderland I could not pass it up.

This is a work of Adult Fiction/Erotica so it is exactly what the genre says it is.

The story line was not my favorite, but I still really enjoyed the book. It is very short and fast paced and I read it in one sitting.

Genre: Historical Fiction, Fiction, Mystery, Magical Realism, Historical, Fantasy

Review: *I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

I had a really difficult time getting into this book. I kept having to force myself to sit down and continue reading it. The writing itself was really interesting and very dark.
This story takes place in New York in the late 1800s. It is a very dark and twisting tale that intertwines four different characters perspectives until they finally connect. Parry combined a multitude of concepts: opium dens, circus performers, an insane asylum, and an amateur boxer.

Review: I finally was able to sit down and read this book since it had been on my “to read” list for over a year now.

I wasn’t disappointed in it at all. I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it. To be honest, I’m not a person who enjoys the whole zombie craze that people have been into recently, so I was surprised that it didn’t bother me at all in this book.
